Schneider Electric Learning Series for Engineers, Designers & Specifiers

All sessions occur 1:00 - 2:00 pm EDT with each session providing 1.0 PDH of credit for mySchneider portal members.

The series includes, Essential Power Equipment:

Session 1, Designing for Reduced Footprint — October 7, 2021 On-Demand (receive 1 PDH and a CEU)
Designing for reduced footprint of electrical equipment plays a major role in cost reduction. It can also allow for needed infrastructure flexibility. The application of new technologies, intelligent components and design architectures can greatly reduce footprint while providing enhanced value. This presentation will discuss various methods for footprint reduction including strategies beyond using smaller equipment.

Session 2, Impacts of New UL Certification Program for Electrical Equipment— October 21, 2021 On-Demand
UL has created an Extended Manufacturer Assemblers Program that provides additional methods for their surveillance and certification of electrical equipment. This presentation will provide an overview of the program, certification processes and impacts on assembly, labeling and inspection. The program provides positive outcomes for the flexibility, scheduling and installed quality of electrical equipment. An example of how this process would work and the associated benefits for modular switchboards are discussed. This webinar is a must watch for engineers, contractors and inspectors working with the approval and labeling of equipment.
