The industry has become one of the fastest growing in the country with a steep rise in demand for air travel. Experts opine that the development of sustainable infrastructure has a multiplier effect on the economy in terms of increasing aggregate demand.

The discussion was aimed at supporting the endeavor of 'Driving Sustainability in Airports Through Digitization', as part of the "Green Yodha" sustainability initiative by Schneider Electric.

The Session enabled exchange of thoughts on evolving low-cost energy resources to power the airport infrastructure, fuel-efficient models, measures to encourage eco-friendliness for a circular economy and innovative solutions to enable energy efficiency and cost optimization in achieving carbon-neutrality.
